Description: Bunko in Meiji period lask (Japan). The Meiji era corresponds to the period from 1868 to 1912. A similar box was given by the Emperor of Japan to Leopold II at the beginning of the twentieth century. He asked the Japanese craftsmen for 45 months of work.
