The shaped backsplash of highly figured bird?s eye maple with scrolled ears with stamped brass rosettes flanked by dies with bird?s eye maple panels framed in mahogany and with peeked cornices with brass ball finials, above a French bureau case with a rectangular mahogany veneered top with figured maple bull nose edge, a projecting mahogany top drawer flanked by bird?s eye maple inlaid panels, above three drawers of bird?s eye maple veneer with brass ring pulls with stamped brass back plates, flanked by figured maple pillars with mahogany lotus carved capitals, the bottom of the case front having a rope turned edge.
