Attributed to Louis-Prosper Provent. Circa 1820. The steel dial has Roman numerals centred by a rosette and set within a circular beaded frame above filigree steel foliate scroll-work; the rectangular front of the case is framed by a band of berried foliage and flowers and is surmounted by a cornice mounted with a band of c-scrolls and berried pendants below beading and a pediment mounted on its front with three rosettes and two cone-shaped ornaments with berried foliage. The whole rests on a plinth above four semi-circular feet. Width: 8.5 / 22 cm. Height: 16 / 40 cm.
