Since commonly used mercury vapour lamps (HQL) are soon to be phased out, municipal authorities are being forced to renovate their ageing street lanterns. Use of modern luminants like LEDs or HIT CE lamps combined with high-efficiency lighting technology offers enormous potential for savings. The SELUX MTR135 light module is proof that future-safe upgrading need not be cost-intensive. This new generation of prism refractors from SELUX can be equipped either with LEDs or HITs enabling existing pole-mounted luminaires in a lighting system to be upgraded at no great expense.
