Apilco

Founded in 1826, the Apilco porcelain factory is now one of the oldest in France. Drawing its reputation from the hard porcelain it produces by exploiting the property of the Chauvigny Stone, Apilco specializes in hotelière, functional, durable and resistant dishes, capable of withstanding thermal shocks and Mechanical, while keeping style and elegance. It is only later that the brand will extend from the world of hospitality and catering to that of private individuals. Non-Porous, unable to flake or crack, resulting from a manufacturing process guaranteeing optimum hygiene, Apilco Porcelain responds as much to the needs of chefs as consumers. In 1936, the brand Apilco (Albert Pillivuyt & Compagnie), as well as its know-how, was transferred to Chauvigny, before being moved again, in 1964, to the Planty, where the manufacture today is still located.
