Aleth Vignon

Aleth Vignon, an upholsterer for the 21st century. Aleth Velasco has created his company in 1989. It relies on traditional technique and know-how to reinvent the dressing of windows. It is specialist of blinds, curtains and sliding panels that are made to measure in his workshop, for a clientele of individuals, architects and decorators. His passion: materials editors, of course, but also the vegetable fibre fabrics that it uses now a decade: banana fiber, white dead-nettle, vetiver... It makes blinds and sliding panels to filter and heat the cold lights. She works also metalized nylon horsehair and weaves of abaca and copper, transparent agenda, reveal all their brilliance to electric light. Styling: sleek collection of stores created by Aleth Velasco is very graphic. It uses vegetable fibres or nylon horsehair, achieves its prototypes from applications of contrasting or complementary materials: PVC lace, Veil encrusted strands of cotton, pineapple and Silk weaving... Curtains are also treated in a very contemporary manner: a scale adapted to each texture, clashes structures and minimalist on rods sober and graphics.
