Oak (Quercus Alba) is one of the most widespread hardwood species in North America, characterised by its strength and resistance to wear. The parquet has a rustic appearance showing clear variations in the structure and colour of the friezes. Sound knots and open knotholes are present throughout. Presence of medium-sized knots. Presence of knots on friezes and knot clusters. Presence of cracks, sapwood, pith and inter-bark. Pore on the surface of the wood. Knots and other defects are treated in the factory with a coloured filler.
