Shyrdaks are hand-stitched, felt carpets from Kyrgyzstan. They are characterised by their unique and arrestingly beautiful patterns. The abstract shapes depict themes from the wild animal and plant world of the mountain steps: flowers, birds, mountain goats, the sun, moon and the jagged mountain range. Shyrdaks are also made into beautiful stools and pillows, available in a variety of sizes. In Switzerland, they are filled with high-quality material. All carpets, stools and pillows in Switzerland are sent to a specialist company for gentle cleaning (with neutral soap) and a treatment providing long-lasting protection from moth infestation. You receive a highly natural product made from pure wool, coloured with either natural regional dyes or dyes manufactured in Switzerland.
