Swiss Plus AG "Not only beautiful and of high quality, it should also be multifunctional and intelligent" - such is the creed behind the developments of the designer furniture manufacturer Swiss Plus AG in Switzerland. And, indeed, there is something to be seen in the company's catalogue! The new products of Swiss Plus had already aroused attention at the imm cologne in January. Already during the run-up to the fair, the company had been pleased to gain two nominations. The new, multifunctional designer-sofa "Zapping-My-Sofa" was included in the Hit Guide 2007 and the designer sofa-bed "Bed for Living" nominated for the Innovation Award. For two-and-a-half years now, Swiss Plus has been issuing its own new catalogue with sofas, upholstered beds, armchairs, club tables and many other items. Altogether, Swiss Plus offers more than 60 designer products directly. These elegant items are produced in the stronghold of European design, Meda, near Milan. The design is from famous ateliers such as the designer team Mandelli & Selva. A particular characteristic of all models is their multifunctionality, coupled with excellent design and the possibility for the customer to express his own wishes and make his own choice - individual furnishing of one's own home is the focal point of the company's product philosophy. "Bed for Living", the intentionally simple and timeless designed sofa-bed, can be transformed into a bed by means of an easy manipulation. Additionally, the back support and cushions can be adjusted to individual needs. The multi-talent "Zapping - My Sofa" can be equally quickchanged from a three-seater to a two-seater with chaise longue or to two chaise longues. At present, Swiss Plus is extending its dealership network outside Switzerland; this design-oriented company aims to be present all over Europe in the future. Trade partners have already been found in France, England, Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain. In Switzerland, Swiss Plus has a selective distributor net consisting of approx. 30 specialist dealers; the main branch is located in Zurich.
