Dining Room Shop The

A unique shop with world wide customers. The Dining Room Shop specialises in antique furniture for kitchens and dining rooms, both formal and informal. It makes bespoke tables, especially extending ones, chairs, dressers and other furniture in a wide range of styles and finishes - both polished and painted. The shop also sells dining accessories of all kinds, both old and new, including glass, china, silver, flatware, lighting, candles and table linens. The shop has a wedding gift service and offers restoration services, as well as a copying service for china, glass and furniture. Table linens can be made to measure. The shop has supplied specially made copies of antiques for specific projects organised by The National Trust, English Heritage, Waddesden, Audley End and the military museum at Woolwich. It has made specially designed table lighting for top London clubs and restaurants including Harry`s Bar, Annabels, Mark`s Club and the Walbrook Club. Working with interior designers, or to owners` briefs, we have made furniture - chairs, tables and linens for country hotels and pubs, as well as for private work in homes all over the world. The shop runs an interior design service and a consultation service for those who are wanting to buy antiques. The shop was established in 1985, by Kate Dyson, one of the founder editors of The World of Interiors.
