Atelier Andamento Mosaique

Mosaic is a fabulous form of language for contemporary architecture. It is not only a simple coating. It expresses signs, colours, materials that shape the places and the perception of spaces. Thanks to its flexibility, it can follow and highlight the physical contours of the architecture. An infinite number of compositions is possible by working on the color, the rhythms, the lines, the density, variation, repetition. The contrast between Matt and glossy materials to animate a wall surface with games of light and shadow. Movement and rhythm created by the layout of the tesserae is called ¨andamento¨. For more than twenty years, I realize custom, mosaic, figurative, or informal, decorations for habitat and its exterior.
